I have to calculate some language models using CMU toolkit,but first i have to start by installing cygwin.I followed all the instructions i found in some web sites and it really worked but the problem is when i try to open the cygwin window it is immediatly closed and i don't understand why.Can anybbdy help me pleaaaaaaaaase it is really urgent

you do not need cygwin to use cmuclmtk. you can download native windows binary from the website.

Thank you for your care,but as a matter of fact i don't know this native window thing,how am i supposed to use it once i download it ???

I downloaded the native window and i was able to open an application window which looks like the windows cmd window but the problem now how to use this widow to install the CMU Toolkit??? please can anybody help me??

It worked, i was able to install cygwin on my desk computer which is running windows xp,i don't know why it did work on windows xp and not on windows seven but i don't really care ,the problem now is that when i type make install to install CMUToolKit it doesn't work ....!!!oh something else when i run the cygyin i have a warning message "could not find /temp please create".Could anybody help me pleaaaaaase.

Finally i did install cygwin,However when i try to install the CMU i have a vew error msg :
gcc -O -c -o bo_ng_prob.o bo_ng_prob.c
gcc:internal error :Segmentation fault (program cc1)
Am running out of time would anyone pleaaaase help...I don't know what to do
