Hi,

I need a pronounciation dictionary for Australian English dialect in IPA or ANDOSL phoneme symboles, One like the cmu one but for Australian English?

Thanks for your reply, but accually I reviewed some of the words of this dictionary with the http://www.macquariedictionary.com.au (an Australian English dictionary) and I found that the pronounciation dosn't match.

I looked at how he has created his dictionary and I found that he use the espeak (Speech Synthesizer engine) to create the pronounciation, but espeak dosn't support the Australian accent.

Don't expect an exact match.   Pronuciation dictionaries aren't exact things, what's most important is that they are consistent.

But it has rules for dialects such as Scottish - perhaps the author created rules for Australian?

It's GPL - why not take the engineers view and ask whether it is good enough for the job you want to do?
