Re: Other language metrics
By Andrey - 7/9/2013 - 1 Replies

I found it in http://www.voxforge.org/es/downloads

The Spanish language shows the English metrics, not the Spanish ones. The German language does show its metrics correctly. That's how I finally found them.

Other language metrics
By Andrey - 7/9/2013

I was looking for the metrics in Spanish. Are there metric pages for the other languages?

Great job!

A few answers

The metrics have been updated in july 2011.

Each language must reach the 140 hours goal. It's for each language.

Current number of hours
By tsmock - 6/16/2011 - 2 Replies

What is the current number of hours that you have?

The Metrics page is from December 2010, and at that time you had 83.9 hours.

I just want to know how many hours you have gotten since then, and whether or not you have met your current goal of 140 hours.

(Yes, I know that you are working on a script to update it nightly, and that it is currently not in use since it is not complete)

Also, I have noticed that there is a considerable amount of speech files that haven't been processed, some of which are from 2010, and I was wondering if you were lacking in processing power or something similar (it is automated, right?).

If any of these questions have been answered elsewhere, please drop a link.

Metrics page or Uploads stalled?
By dw96 - 6/2/2011 - 1 Replies

"Audio Contributions (as of Fri 17 Dec 2010 10:10:03 AM EST):"

Has the uploading mechanism stalled or just the generation of the metric page? Looking at the top of the page it looks like it stopped back in December..

audiobooks

Why you don't use audiobooks ? It's an easy way to collect many hundreds of hours.

Not published / processed

I sent in the past days some speech, but it hasn't be processed. How many time does it take to process Spanish submissions?

Submissions metric page
By Capitan Nemo - 7/30/2008 - 1 Replies Hi, I have submitted something like 10 samples in the past days with the nick "Capitan Nemo" by the java application available in the page "Read". My contributions were accepted (now they are in the page "Listen", in the Italian subpage. However my nick is not in the submissions metric page, so I cannot track how much I have submitted. What can I do to solve this issue? Thanks.

140 hours for each language or for all together?
By Sergey - 5/2/2008 - 1 Replies

Hello,

Does submission of audio in any language counts toward the 140 hour goal, or should it be 140 hours for each language?

--Thanks,

Sergey

How many hours am I allowed to submit?
By ralfherzog - 8/24/2007 - 3 Replies Hi Ken,

At the moment, the "metrics" shows that I have contributed about 33 minutes of speech.  But what about you, kmaclean, you have contributed only about 12 minutes. Cry Why don't you contribute more speech to the project?

And what would be the maximum for one speaker of useful contribution? How many hours of speech am I allowed to submit to voxforge.org?  Is there a limit? Wink
