Hello,

When I am using HHEd Command:

HHEd -A -D -T 1 -H hmm9/macros -H hmm9/hmmdefs -M hmm10 mktri.hed monophones1

I got error message:

ERROR [+7060]  InitHMMSet: Expected newline after 2'th HMM

  ERROR [+2628]  CloneCommand: MakeHMMSet failed

 FATAL ERROR - Terminating program HHEd

Can anybody help me? I can't find the mistakes.

Hi Aswin,

From the HTK book:

+7060 HMM List format error
The file was formated incorrectly. Check the file is complete and has not been corrupted

Anything strange appear in your HVite log in Step 8?

I remember, this error it happened for me when I try htk for the first time.

it is due, because I forgot to define the ‘monophones1’ for this command, I transform it to comment by mistake. Try to see if you didn’t make like me.

I hope that, this is the problem with you and it was solved.
