I have tried dos2unix on both sample.voca and sample.grammar files. both are converted. i ran mkdfa.pl sample when i am in voxforge\manual directory and when i was in julius_bin directory.

I get the same error

cannot open "sample.grammar" at /Julius/bin/mkdfa.pl line 66.

if i install julius 4.2.1 the latest one and then use the same command i get the error

cannot open "sample.grammar" at /Julius/bin/mkdfa.pl line 69.

Need help..???

Hi,

I had the same problem - you need to have sample.grammar and sample.voca in the same directory that the mkdfa.pl file is - then it won't throw any exception.

no its not working.....i included sample.voca and sample.grammar files in same directory as mkdfa.pl file...it throws same error

I also facing the same error even after copying the files to the files to same directory
